Zack Snyder working on Xerxes

Hero Complex reports that Zack Snyder has began work on the prequel to 300, Xerxes. Frank Miller released the first artwork for the six issue mini series last month. Director Zack Snyder and Producer Thomas Tull were asked if they were going to adapt the comic and quoted "if the book is awesome and compelling, then, yes, we are interested. So I guess that means it is awesome!

Xerxes will be set ten years before 300 took place and begin with the Battle of Marathon. I personally love Mr. Snyder's movies, yes, even Watchmen all you whiners. Next up is Suckerpunch from Snyder which I will keep you updated on as it makes me giddy with joy.
