OnTheRedCarpet.com exclusively reports that Joss Whedon has official announced Jeremy Renner star of the Hurt Locker as being cast to play expert marksman Hawkeye in the Avengers movie.As much as I have loved Hawkeye in his original purple, bow and arrow wielding outfit from the comics, I hope they actually take the Ultimates approach with it. Either way I am happy with this addition to a pretty awesome cast. And all know I am all that matters.
